Videography and phtography INTERNSHIP

Videography intern

Location: Virtual/Remote


Full-Time/Part-Time: Part-Time (10-15 hours per month)


Number of open positions: 2


Compensation: None. This is an unpaid internship.


Travel: Local travel required for in-person events. 


Travel Reimbursement/allowance: None.


Job Description:

  •  Create relevant stories for online streaming.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline
  • Produce and edit video content adhering to company guidelines and standards to share on online channels, including social media and YouTube.
  • Live Stream and record various Music Academia events.
  • Collaborate and work with the management and other interns and volunteers as needed. 
  • Work with video editing software.
  •  Attend meetings with management every other week. 
  • Follow Music Academia's policies and procedures.


Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a high school or a college student in Arizona (preferably in the valley).
  • Interest in Videography. Preferably taking a course/majoring in Media studies. 
  • Experience with Adobe  Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc.
  • Must have self access to video camera, video recording and editing software.
  • Must have self transportation.
  • Good creative and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Intermediate computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, etc.
  • Familiarity with Google drive and Gmail.
  • Ability to work under deadlines.
  • Be a good listener and to work well as part of a team.
  • Belief in the cause of Music Academia to help an underprivileged child learn music.

Job Description:

  •  Cover Music Academia events.
  • Conduct photoshoots as needed.
  • Ability to tell stories through pictures.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline
  • Retouch and manipulate images
  •  Develops content for diverse audiences and platforms including social media platforms. 
  • Collaborate and work with the management and other department interns and volunteers as needed. 
  • Attend meetings every other week. 
  • Follow Music Academia's policies and procedures.


Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a high school or a college student.
  • Must be able to arrange own transportation for traveling to events.
  • Must be taking courses on photography or related field in school/college. 
  •  Experience using Adobe Creative Suite products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, etc.  
  • Owns their own camera.
  • Has self access to  Adobe Premiere and/or After Effects or similar software.
  • Strong creative and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Intermediate computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, etc.
  • Familiarity using Google drive and Gmail.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work under deadlines.
  • Belief in the cause of Music Academia to help an underprivileged child learn music.
