Compensation: None. This is an unpaid internship.
Job Description:
- Organize virtual events such as recitals, anniversary celebrations, year end celebrations, volunteer/intern appreciation night, etc.,
- Maintain birthday calendar, intern/volunteer availability calendar,
- Send and maintain documents such as volunteer/intern handbook, consent forms, parents permission forms for minors, NDA, etc.
- Send reminders to all interns and teachers to submit timesheets.
- Serve as the point of contact for intern/volunteer grievances.
- Send out offer letters/probation letters/Relieving letters to interns/volunteers.
- Send certificate of completion to all interns at the end of the internship term.
- Collaborate and work with the management and other department interns and volunteers as needed.
- Attend meetings every other week.
- Conduct orientation.
- Follow Music Academia's policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a high school or a college student
- Interest in Human Resources and/or Management if in high school; Must be pursing a degree related to human resources and/or management if you are a college student.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills.
- Intermediate computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, etc.
- Proficient in using Google drive and Gmail.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Belief in the cause of Music Academia to help an underprivileged child learn music.
