Graphics Design intern

Location: Virtual/Remote

Full-Time/Part-Time: Part-Time (~10 hours per month)

Internship Term: Till December 31, 2023.

Compensation: None. This is an unpaid internship.

Job Description:

•  Create and design print and digital materials such as flyers, brochures, posters, banners, birthday cards for students, teachers, and all supporters, etc. 
• Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline
• Retouch and manipulate images
• Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media
• Collaborate and work with the management and other department interns and volunteers as needed. 
• Attend meetings every other week. 
• Follow Music Academia's policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a high school or a college student
• Must be taking courses on graphics design or related field in school/college. 
• Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals.
• Experience with InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. 
• Must have self access to graphics design software.
• Good creative and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Intermediate computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, etc.
• Familiarity using Google drive, Gmail, and WhatsApp.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work under deadlines.
• Belief in the cause of Music Academia to help an underprivileged child learn music.

• Distribution of tasks among team members.
• Serve as the first point of escalation in your team.
• Try to resolve team member conflicts before reaching out to HR. 
• Work with team members' schedule while ensuring projects and tasks are completed on time.
• Attend meetings with management every other week. 
• Follow Music Academia's policies and procedures.
