Job Description:
- Research potential grant opportunities and advise management.
- Identify potential individual, charities, and corporate donors.
- Develop strategies to build and maintain relationships with the potential donors.
- Oversee and help with the application process for securing grants.
- Ensure all compliance are adhered to for obtaining the grant.
- Ensure all required documents are obtained and prepared as per the grant guidelines.
- Research, plan and organize fundraising events and activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to advertise and implement the fundraising events/activities.
- Attend team meetings and follow Music Academia's policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a high school or a college student in Arizona (preferably in South East valley).
- Must be able to arrange own transportation for any local travels.
- Interest in fundraising and grant writing
- Some experience in fundraising and/or grant writing is required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skill.
- Comfortable in reaching out to organizations and donors, via email, phone, and in-person.
- Experience creating PowerPoint presentations, using google slides,, Word documents, etc.
- Familiarity with Google drive, Gmail, and WhatsApp
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Be a good listener and to work well as part of a team.
- Belief in the cause of Music Academia to help an underprivileged child learn music.
