Communications INTERNSHIP

Location: Virtual/Remote


Full-Time/Part-Time: Part-Time (10-15 hours per month)


Number of open positions: 1


Compensation: None. This is an unpaid internship.


Job Description:

  • Create and distribute business communications to Music Academia board and volunteers.
  • Work with HR to create and update handbooks, various HR letter templates, etc.
  • Collaborate with Graphics design team, social media team, and HR to create and review content for social media posts and flyers. 
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create and review promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with fundraising team to create fundraising materials, various letters to donors, publicity events, campaign strategy, pitches, etc.
  • Copy edit, and proof read all communication materials. 
  • Research and create educational content related to music.
  • Attend team meetings and follow Music Academia's policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a high school or a college student
  • Interest and/or pursuing education in Communications.  
  • Some experience publishing materials on various website and social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skill.
  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations, using google slides,, Word documents, etc.
  • Familiarity with Google drive, Gmail, and WhatsApp
  • Ability to work under deadlines.
  • Be a good listener and to work well as part of a team.
  • Belief in the cause of Music Academia to help an underprivileged child learn music.
